This little 5x7 oil painting is of the local countryside.

  I love the tranquility of the open fields and will be doing more of these small paintings

 as I get outside to do some plein aire paintings.

EARLY MORNING

It is a New Year and time for a new beginning.  It is exciting to start on some new painting adventures.

EARLY MORNING is my first 2012   mini canvas painting that I recently added to my ETSY shop

I am enjoying doing these small artworks, they are great to sit on a table or bookcase, and they help me decide if I want to paint the subject in a larger format.
